Trade Export Pathway Programme
The aim of InterTradeIreland's Trade Export Pathway programme is to support businesses that are either looking to enter the cross-border market for the first time or are already engaged in cross-border trade and wish to grow their export business further.
Tailored support is available for each step along the Trade Export Pathway; funding is provided for a specialist consultant to work with you and your business to establish and grow your exports over time.

As approved InterTradeIreland consultants, we can establish if your business meets the funding eligibility criteria, assist with completing your application to secure funding, and work with you as your consultant on the funded project.

Trade Export Pathway Programme

Step
01

Research
For businesses in need of further information regarding key aspects of their cross-border market, such as possible routes to market and the scale of market opportunity, InterTradeIreland can provide funding to eligible companies to conduct research into their cross-border market, so that they can plan their approach to their cross-border market appropriately.
Step
02

Plan
For businesses in need of a cross-border export sales & marketing plan before they can meaningfully implement export sales activity in their cross-border market, InterTradeIreland can provide funding to eligible companies for the development of such a plan.
Step
03

Implement
For businesses that have fully researched their cross-border market opportunity and have a pre-existing cross-border export sales and/or marketing plan, InterTradeIreland can provide funding to eligible companies to assist with the implementation of that plan across the following areas: building sales development leads, leads prospecting and generation, and strategic cross-border business planning.
