Our Story
SalesPlus began trading in early 2014, to offer an ambassadorial or outsourced sales role for SMEs. Co-Founders, Willie Maxwell and Michael McElroy, both had strong sales backgrounds and, for the previous 10 years, had managed the Acumen programme on behalf of InterTradeIreland.

Their experience suggested that many SMEs are superb at innovating, manufacturing or delivering a service, but that most owner managers either do not like selling or don’t have the resources inhouse to do so effectively.

Willie retired at the end of 2017 (and sadly passed away in 2023). Eamon McElroy, the MD of SalesPlus, joined in January 2019. Since then, SalesPlus has grown to a multi-disciplinary consultancy – still primarily working with SMEs – but now offering a range of services, including lead generation, financial consulting, digital marketing, HR consulting and bespoke coaching & mentoring services.

We have a full-time team of 5 people, supported by 4 associates, to optimise geographic coverage of the island as well as sectoral expertise.
